Conference Information

The Keynote Speaker for the 2019 Smerdon/Reeves Lecture is Dr. Samuel Wilson, National Institutes of Health.
Samuel H. Wilson is the Chief of DNA Repair and Nucleic Acid Enzymology at NIEHS, and the past Acting Director of NIEHS & the National Toxicology Program at NIH.

In addition, the lecture will feature four speakers from across the WSU system, and two speakers from other institutions with ties to the School of Molecular Biosciences at WSU. Confirmed speakers include:

Dr. Yesenia Rodriguez (WSU '14), IRTA Fellow at NIEHS.

Dr. Kyle Miller (WSU '96), Associate Professor of Molecular Biosciences at the University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Peng Mao, Research Associate Professor in SMB at WSU-Pullman.

Dr. Jiyue Zhu, Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at WSU-Spokane.

Dr. Alexander Brown (WSU '18), Postdoctoral Researcher & Adjunct Instructor at WSU-Vancouver
